Are you ready to get your ‘house’ in order and make sure 2012 is not just another pipe dream year?

I have been discussing the future with several steady contacts and all are in a state of confusion as to what it is they need to be doing.

It starts with a dream, your dream. It starts with your why – money, career change, frustration, adding to poor retirement funds, or are you one of the rare breed with a desire to share something wonderful with a waiting audience?

A place to call home
You will never stop hearing that if you are serious about an online career you will need secure hosting – not just a web site.

A website can be a blog or what is commonly called a niche site or very involved life-long development of income and profits strategies.

Whatever your choice, the point is what you choose needs to rest on safe, secure servers that will not disappear because you hit a rough spot financially, or the company goes out of business, or you are suddenly being hit with higher monthly costs because of hidden bandwidth and disc size for the account you chose?

Like it or not, it is necessary to PLAN the steps you will take from the start to the finish of any project. You need to know how to handle all this as to what is involved and what you need to do yourself.

Your security lies in having your own secure hosting account with your domain name, not settling for a company- offered site all done for you with no room to add who you are to the mix. A space you own, with your own cPanel and resources that put you in control of your experience.

The Concept Called Marketing
Marketing is a broad term that takes in a lot of unsuspecting dreamers. From SOHO – Small Office or Home Office workers, to MLM to simple affiliates looking to increase income needs, you can let others do it for you for the price they want to charge, or you can take your dreams in hand and learn the topical information and skills that will make success a reality.

In all reality, wouldn’t it be hard from your perspective, to let others do all the work and you never have a clue until the bottom falls out, in order to find out just what it is you have been paying them to do ?

Content Scrapers Are Losers

A dozen and one times I have talked about and written how you need to type out your email addies so that ‘scrapers‘ do not pick you up and add you to their list of emails for sale.

Advertisers pay big money to get those scraped email addies.

What about Scraper Web Sites?

Scraped content is content taken from other sources, nothing is original save the name of the blog or site owner.

The blog world is famous for scraped content.

Panda Update
The Panda Update happened in the early summer of 2011. What it boils down to is duplicate content and Google is still in the throes of making you pay for having a scraped site. If you have not read their Panda update then it is time to do so. If you exist on scraped content then get busy making big time changes.

If you lost your ranking since last summer, if your traffic flow has decreased, then now you possibly know the reason.

Why all the fuss? It’s simple. Google wants its search clients to get quality results. You either have it to offer or you don’t. So far Google has removed over 300,000 useless sites.

SEO Bad Tips
Perhaps one of your actions is to flood article directories with poorly written garbage just to get back links. How many of those ‘under the radar’ gurus sucked you into the scraped article content mess to earn a fortune and turn you into an authority writer?

Can you spell loser? How long users of scraped content felt they could fool the masses is one thing in respect to transparency and totally another when it comes to fooling Search Engines like Google.

Wheee I love a See-Saw Sometimes

The last few days I have been on a see-saw learning all about different programs we offer you in ViralHost. Most of them I am already quite familiar with but what is different about these, is they are updated applications, user intuitive and something you really need to be using.

Why Me – Why Budget?

All my life, the things I really wanted, had to be budgeted. From my early years, I learned from my Dad and Mom the power of the dollar. It wasn’t worth much more in buying power back then than it is now.

You owed your soul to a grocery store that allowed you to spend on the food staples your family needed and come pay day, the money went first to pay them for services rendered.

It is much like that scenario, building an online business. You have to start somewhere, and that somewhere, whether today or tomorrow, will be a web site.

A website is the HOME of your business, the HUB that generates customer
interest to buy or to share or to join whatever it is you have to offer.

You need to budget for yearly domain renewals, monthly hosting costs, extra bandwidth and size as your business grows.

Starting small is the norm. It is easier to grow into something that is manageable. Especially when you find out the traffic to your web site might also affect the ISP package you have.

Budgeting for customers who may be downloading from your site that can cause extra charges from your ISP, is another must. That is your monthly budget to carry the items that will cost you to perform business on line. There are more but those depend on how much larger your business is then we are discussing here.

Income vs outgo decides profit.

Once you know your start up costs, then it is time to strategize on how you will create steady income to cover those costs. This is where most newcomers to internet business fall flat and end up leaving rather than performing positive building actions.

A dollar out means you need to find a way to create two dollars in. The idea of two for one, gives you some play in covering unexpected costs. It also projects a possible profit for you each month that relates in a commisison check.

Example: I join 10khits4unow in order to create lead generation to help
build my downline and my list.

In order to create a commission check, I need to choose an upgrade level.
Then I need to set up an advertising strategy to bring in new subscribers to
my downline and get them on my list. That way the company continues to
grow, my sites are being seen AND I am working for ME in building my list.

Sponsorship Tips And Squeaks

The way most of us sponsor is full of squeaks. Little things that barely cut the value of people having signed up to that enchanting splash page.

What if you changed your advertising for new leads to something with a bit of teeth that shows what you can really do?

For example. Knowing the difference betweem MLM and Direct Marketing would be a big time help in being able to reach a specific target market.

BOTH need leads. BOTH need traffic in order to get those leads but one will buy traffic and the other will buy leads with no time to waste surfing.

Do you know the tools available to you to feed either or both of these markets?

Here is one thought that might provide a solution to both.

What if your advertising was selective? That is, you are not only looking for live subscribers with real motivation but eager marketers who are willing to duplicate what you can teach them.

Being active on the net, with the intent to create income, is all about advertising. That is, put the dollar first and you lose. Put the client first and you win because dollars follow success.

What is important to the client/subscriber is that you are able to prove a simple system that will result in simple duplication that offers success to all participants.

Ready to try a simple test?

To begin with, you find say as little as THREE eager marketers. Then you work with each one to get them THREE eager marketers.

It does not matter what the program or business is. That is your choice. Just find three new people eager to test it out with you.

What you are proving is two-fold.
1. You can find more than one eager marketer
2. Your method is simple enough each one that joins you
feels they can do the same with your help.

Trust and credibility come through successful desired actions.

You start the ball rolling doing this test and it will snowball beyond any comprehension you may have at this moment.

This is one way you can build your list, your downline, your income producers, your future upgraded conversions, all based on a simple three person strategy.

The role of sponsor is more than advertising for subscribers.

It is all about teaching the system, the structure, the strategy, the model, that shows those willing to follow you how to do exactly the same.

How to Exchange Poor Results For Better Traffic

Tuesdays’s newsletter highlighted some of the issues of good traffic for your campaigns. This blog entry will talk a bit more on how to exchange poor results for better traffic. It really does all begin with your actions.

A major issue is a misunderstanding of how you need to be using Traffic Exchanges [TEs] to promote your offers.

Surfing 30 per day EVERY day would result in 900 views per month for ONE campaign. Most people use the full three or more campaigns depending on their membership level.

Let me say right here and now, I am not a believer in 30 sites viewed per day getting you anywhere but if time is your enemy and that is what you have to surf then let’s see how we can make the best of it.

The average TE flow is approximately 18 views per day per campaign. Let’s say 20 to make your math a wee bit easier. [Mine too lol]. So you have THREE campaigns, each being seen 20 times per day. That Totals 60 views right there.

So if all you surf is 30 sites period per day, that leaves two of your needed campaigns not gettiing full exposure. Sixty from 30 sort of comes out MINUS THIRTY needed views.

Some Simple Solutions

Chunk your available time so you surf 30 sites per schedule three times during the day.

Only promote ONE program per TE and remember if you do promote a full THREE, you need to increase your surfing as per the first solution.

Promote the TEs you use. You cannot surf 100 TEs and do any of them any justice anymore that you can surf 25 to 30 TEs per day UNLESS you are surf brained. Choose a solid 10 to 12 TEs to both surf, promote and enter your THREE max campaigns. Create a schedule to make sure these TEs all get the full balanced exposure.

Make promoting of the TEs you choose priority one. The more downline you build up that is active, the less you have to worry about making your daily surf totals. Teach them to duplicate your actions and everyone breathes easier with more earned downline traffic.

Part of being a serious marketer bound for good results, is you need to be organized. That begins with the time you have and the checklists you learn to make and follow in how you best use that time.

There is no better way to exchange poor results for better traffic.

The Day The Fox Left Me -Guest Post

This article deals with instabilities in FireFox when you surf. Read and see if this solution is what you need.

The Day The Fox Left Me!

What to do in the event of a crash. (No in this case you do not call for an ambulance). Software crashes require you to perform a bit of investigation into why the problem occurred in the first place.

Investigative steps:
1. Scan for viruses, malware, spyware using your anti virus system.
Not to scare you but you can receive harmful bits of information from surfing, from your inbox, etc. If anything is found make sure you remove it.
2. Uninstall firefox and do a registry scan to make sure there are no traces of the software left in the registry.
3. Shut down and reboot your computer using the start button on your desktop not the start button on the computer. Using the start button on your desktop will properly save your information.

After your computer is back up and running go to firefox.com and download the browser software. This is where I had a problem because I was getting the following message after installing FF.

“Platform version “5.0″ is not compatible with
minVerison>=5.0.1
maxVersion<=5.0.1″

I contacted firefox support Live Chat.

After several minutes of determining how I installed firefox, the support member suggested a clean install.

Rename the install folder or install in a different folder.
To find the install folder right click on the computer icon and click on properties. click on programs, this lists the programs installed on your computer.

Find the Mozilla Firefox folder and rename it Old Firefox. Renaming the folder will eliminate the chance that it was a corrupt file.
Try to open FF in Safe Mode using these steps:
Start Firefox in Safe Mode by following the instructions at
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode.
To open profile manager follow these steps: Start Profile Manager
by following the steps at

https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles.

After performing the above steps and still getting the same error message the support agent decided that maybe it might have been that I had downloaded a corrupt file. He gave me another link to try insalling FF.

After installing from the above link I was able to again start using firefox.

When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Get Going

Why would a person close down income producing opportunities when they have been previously receiving consistent checks? Well even sporadic checques can be considered income in.

Is it scare mongering when the economy is getting even tighter? The stock markets faced two days of steady dropping?

Europe is a mess of civil unrest. The job market in the States is bottoming out. The debt load ceiling has been raised yet the economy shows no signs of moving up?

What about Canadians facing deeper cuts to services because their trading partner the States is in dire straits?

The wicked message here is, putting all your eggs in one basket is bound to give you financial indigestion.

There is no doubt the going is tough. But giving in and giving up is not the solution either.

You still need to live. Gotta eat, pay the rent or mortgage and keep that gas guzzler on the road so can either find work or keep the J.O.B. that you have.

That is one side of the coin. The other is your whole reason for coming on line in the first place. It WAS to better your lifestyle was it not? To create replacement income to cover the dwindling security of that J.O.B.?

Haven’t met too many quitters that managed that, have you?

While the economy may be a wee bit out of our league to fix, what we do online is right in our ability to control. At least the actions we tighten up and increase. The time we spend a lot wiser, and the actions we take to fit who we are, where we intend to be and the help we turn to that will make it all happen because you do need that support.

Leadership vs Your Business

All around you are people claiming they are going to be someone in the next year. You have heard them. Over and over they are going to buckle down and get ‘er done.

Most of those faces were here last year and the year before. Unfortunately the ‘I’m gonna do it” crowd will be back next year as the ‘almost ready to do it‘ bunch.

What we need, is more ‘just do it’ people. The kind of people who are too busy getting done what other people are too busy talking about and judging on you. “He can’t do it.” or “She can’t do it.”

But you do it. You get it done.

Doers do whatever it takes to get the job done. They don’t have time to give up when they focus and do it, and do it, and do it and do it, until the job gets done.

We need leaders in marketing, in business in general who can do it. Who can focus and not let up, just do it till the job gets done.

If you want to become financially independent then do it. If you want to go into business for yourself, then do it. If you want to become somebody then do it.

What is it you have to do to become what you want to become? Whatever it is, check it out and just do it until the job gets done.

Productivity – What You Need To Know

Do you have issues with getting started not only in your ideas of what your business should be but also in using Traffic Exchanges [TEs]to help you grow?

Sometimes change is confusing. Sometimes we confuse the simplicity of change. In the long run, we do ourselves no favors avoiding the change.

Be in the know. Come to our Sunday conference.

Let your downline subscribers, teams or friends know. Bring them along. One of the best support teams you can have is your loyal subscribers.

Don’t have any? Then create them. Use the Conference as your starter. Make the scheduler your home page [link to it] and you will never miss a conference you may want to attend. [see bottom of blog entry for link.]

Project Overwhelm

How many new programs and TEs have you joined this year so far? How have you faithfully investigated, know how to properly use and are benefiting from that knowledge?

Joining just so you do not miss something is the fastest way to losing momentum, excitement, your enthusiasm to be a success and worst of all, the opportunity to create income that lasts.

Contests Contests Contests

There is not a Traffic Exchange out there that is not running a contest of some sort. So how do you sort them out as to what ones you really need to be supporting?

Which ones teach you something in the contest surf itself and which ones just open the floodgates to more TEs to join?

The contest itself should be a teaching tool that helps you, new or not so new, how to best use it to build your advertising.

Earning a nickel the hard way is fine, if that is your goal. But why not lift that goal up a notch or two? Surf contests to earn an upgrade then teach your subscribers how to do the same thing.

Now that can be pretty hard to do if they do not offer you that chance. Or if they do but for a measly week? Even a month is chump change when you are not sure how to work it.
